We built this because we could not find our own scholarships.
Three Western students, one problem we all had at the same time.
What happened
We went looking for scholarships. We knew Western gave out a lot of money and we knew some of it had to be for people like us. What we could not work out was where any of it actually was.
Western's own Award Search lists roughly two thousand awards on one page. Huron and King's publish their own, on their own sites, and central search does not carry them at all. That is 80 awards you will not find unless you already know to go looking for them. Ivey has a separate finder. Faculties bury theirs in PDFs. None of it asks who you are, so you read all of it or you read none of it, and most people read none of it.
So we stopped looking and built the thing we had been looking for. Every award in one place, and a couple of minutes of questions instead of an afternoon of reading.

We are students at Western, not staff, not a company, and not anybody's marketing. Nobody pays us to list an award and nobody can pay us to rank one higher, because nothing here is ranked by anything except how well it fits your answers and how soon it closes.
What we will not do
We do not ask you to make an account, and we do not keep anything you tell us. The questionnaire asks about money, disability, sexuality and Indigenous identity because real awards are written around those things, and every one of those answers stays in your own browser and is gone when you close the tab. There is no database of students here to leak, and that is a deliberate design, not an oversight we have not got to yet. The privacy page is the full version of that promise.
We also do not decide whether you qualify for anything. The tool compares your answers to the rules each award publishes, and then points you at the official page so you can check it yourself. Western decides. We are an index with a good filter on it.
