Impact
What this holds, and what it has done.
Two different things, kept apart on purpose. The first panel is the work and is true whether or not anybody visits. The second is how much the work has been used, and it only grows when someone uses it.
The index
Built by hand and by tool from official university pages. These figures do not depend on traffic.

The use
Counted events, not estimates. Nothing here identifies anybody.
Funding surfaced
$7K
The combined stated value of every award whose official page a student opened from here. This is not money raised, and it is not money anyone received. It is the value of the funding this tool put in front of students who then went to look at it, the way a library counts the books it got off the shelf rather than the ones that got read.
Counted conservatively. An award stating a range counts at the bottom of that range, an award whose value varies counts as nothing at all, and one student opening the same award twice counts twice. Treat it as a ceiling on attention, not a floor on funding.

How many awards a student followed up on
Students ticked "I applied" on 2 distinct awards
Last 30 days
2026-10-03 to 2026-11-01Counting restarted from zero after the database that held these figures was lost on 5 October 2026. Everything above was counted since then. Earlier use is not included and is not estimated.
How this is counted
Four events, nothing else
A search finished, an award was shown, an award's official page was opened, and a student ticked “I applied”. That is the whole list. The applied list itself stays in the student's browser; only the count reaches us.
No identifiers at all
No network address, no browser fingerprint, no account, and no session that survives a page load. Two visits by one person and two by different people are indistinguishable here, by design. What is stored.
Checkable
The figures come from the queries in lib/impact-store.ts and the table in db/003_impact_events.sql (extended by db/006_application_marked.sql), all in the public repository, and from nowhere else.
